Presentation of the International Workshop on CO2 Capture and Utilization available online

MEMBER month 36 Meeting

Still under the COVID-19 waves but we already see the light at the end. Like for the previous consortium meeting, the seventh consortium meeting was also held online. Being the third year of the project, we merged this meeting with the EC review meeting. The meeting took place on January 21st, 2021. A detailed description of the project progress was presented identifying the delays in the activities and corrective actions to be implemented. Due to the COVID-19 impact an extension of six months is necessary to complete all the tasks.

International Workshop on CO2 Capture and Utilization

This public workshop has been organised by 11 EC funded project working in the field of CO2 capture and/or utilization. MEMBER month 30 Meeting

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the sixth consortium meeting of the MEMBER project was an online meeting. The meeting took place on July 1st, 2020. COVID-19 has had a strong impact on the activities of the project. Several organizations had their lab closed several weeks and in other cases facilities were fully closed more than two months. On the other side, the supply chain was also affected. This has involved delays in the development of tasks originally planned. A tight monitoring of the COVID-19 impact on the activities as well as deliverables and milestones has been put in place.

MEMBER month 24 Meeting

The fifth consortium meeting of the MEMBER project was hosted by Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven on January 14ht, 2020. Achievements and project status after two year were assessed as well as the next workplan along the year 2020. The day after the open workshop on “Membrane Processes for CO2 capture” took place. The workshop was a success with around 54 persons attending it. Public presentations have been compiled in a booklet and can be downloaded from this website.

MEMBER month 18 Meeting

The fourth consortium meeting of the MEMBER project was hosted by Delft University of Technology in Delft on July 16ht and 17th, 2019. Achievements and project status after a year and a half were assessed as well as the next workplan along the next year. An open workshop will be organized on January 15th, 2020, at Eindhoven University of Technology following the next consortium meeting. MEMBER month 12 Meeting

The third consortium meeting of the MEMBER project was hosted by TECNALIA Research & Innovation in San Sebastián on January 16ht and 17th, 2019. First achievements and project status after one-year activities were assessed as well as the next workplan along the second year. In addition, an internal exploitation workshop was organised to support the consortium on identifying and assessing all the possible exploitable results that will be developed in the frame of the project. MEMBER month 6 Meeting

The second consortium meeting was hosted by University of Zaragoza in Zaragoza on July the 4th 2018. First achievements and project status and future activities inside each work package were discussed along reviewing the risks and action lists.

MEMBER Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-off meeting was kindly hosted by TUE at TUE Office in Brussels (Eurotech Universities Alliance) on January the 17th 2018. Monique Idiri, the EC Research Policy Officer, stated that the EC will follow MEMBER with great interest and wished all the participants success in the project. José Luis Viviente, the project’s coordinator, presented the overall project programme.
Objectives, role of team members, deliverables, and dissemination activities were presented, as well as each work package work plan. Lastly, the process for managing risks and issues was covered. Everything is thus all set for the MEMBER project to run nicely.
